Watch Our Dominican Republic Wedding Album

For our friends everywhere… please watch the most beautiful wedding album you’ll ever see. Well, we could be a little biased considering it’s ours  Thanks for being so patient while we got these online for you all to see. Just this morning we confirmed that Mum Tasker received her photo album and highly approves of our photos. Never ever would we publish for the world to see without Mum seeing first.  We hope you will like them as much as she did!

Our wish is for these photos to inspire someone for their future wedding. With so many creative friends and ideas from the photos to the ceremony to the decor – we were blessed with talent! The tying bouquets together idea suggested by our daughter, Mary Kate as we asked each of our daughters for suggestions and contributions to the ceremony. She suggested that she and her sisters tie the bouquets together to represent blended families coming together as one. Macy, my biological daughter walked me down the isle. And just before, Mary Kate and Clare give their dad a kiss on the cheek before taking place on the front row. Our girls are the BEST and their beauty runs deep.

Gaining a new title for his resume, our dear friend, Randy Eller performed our ceremony as the Chief Merging Officer. Lucy Hamilton-Ayub my forever long friend, Rainmaker and Business Development for PuTTinOuT was my Best Girl (the word “maid” doesn’t begin to describe her). The Best Man role could only be filled by Boyd’s dear friend, brother, side kick, always there, the honorable….Javier (aka. Jav) Cervantes.

The wedding decor was designed with our colorful taste in mind by our dear friend and Designer Dann Foley and Beau Stinnette from DANNInc in Palm Springs, CA. Dann and Beau really outdid themselves in record timing and not really knowing what goods had really made it to the Dominican Republic (D.R.). Global Views of course made magic happen; delivering the large glass vases and candles for each place setting as a last minute replacement for things we couldn’t get or shall I say afford in the D.R. Thank you Fredrick and David! You guys made our week!

The fabulous photography by Kata Nova and her husband Rob is how we proudly bring you most of the pictures you’ll see in the album. Both are extremely easy to work with, even at 5am when you don’t really care to have a picture taken, even if it is for the Trash The Dress Scene. Today, we’re certainly glad that we followed Katya into the ocean at 5:30 in front of the Velero and that we did the first look photo shoot. Otherwise, I don’t think time and lighting would allowed for the funny (well silly) pics of us and photos with friends that you’ll see.

A special thanks to our friends  from all over the world who were there with us and the rest of you thinking of us. We love you all and appreciate your support.

To our Dominican Family and our Dominican home, The Velero Resort… we can’t thank you enough for taking extra special care of us and our guests! Diane, Omar, and the rest of the Velero Staff — you are the BEST! From steaming my dress, to calling doctors and vets….they are top notch! BTW -Congrats on your 5-Star TripAdvisor rating! We personally think you deserve 10! This place is the Best Hotel In The Dominican Republic.

Last but certainly not least….THANK YOU, Richard! He’s the  Dominican Wedding Coordinator who made it all happen. He put up with us in every since of the word. You’ll see photos of our jungle experience to the stroll down the river to La Boca (where the river meets the ocean). Boyd and I had our engagement photos taken here by Genesis Reyes. What better place to take our guests for a wild island fish fry buffet, Pina Coladas, and Bahama Mamas? Of course, all served in natural coconuts and pineapples. Yummy!
